We believe that mental health care should be accessible. Below you'll find clear information on the insurance plans we are in-network with.

Blue Sky Wellness is currently in-network with the following major insurance plans:

• Blue Cross Blue Shield

• Aetna

• Cigna

• Carelon Behavioral Health

• Medicare

• Quest Behavioral Health

If you have one of the plans listed above, your services may be covered, subject to your specific plan's deductible, copay, or coinsurance.

Note: Even when a provider is in-network, you are responsible for any applicable copay, deductible amounts, or coinsurance required by your policy.

Before your first session, it is essential to contact your insurance company to understand your coverage. This ensures you know exactly what your financial responsibility will be.

1. Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.

2. Ask the following key questions:

   • "Do I have coverage for outpatient mental health services?"

   • "What is my deductible for mental health, and how much of it has been met?"

   • "What is my copay or coinsurance amount per session with a provider who is in-network?"

   • "Are there any limitations on the number of sessions allowed per calendar year?"

   • “Do I need written approval from my primary care provider for services to be covered?”

Blue Sky Wellness is not in-network with all insurance companies. For out-of-network insurance companies, we will provide the client with a monthly, electronic, itemized statement, called a “superbill” which can be submitted to the insurance company for potential reimbursement.

• Payment will be due in full at the time of service.

• Please note: A superbill includes required information such as therapist name, credentials, license number, tax ID, diagnosis, procedure code, and the fees that you have paid. 

• Reimbursement is not guaranteed. Your insurance company determines if and how much you may be reimbursed for out-of-network services.  

• You are responsible for communicating with your insurance company about your benefits, filing your claims, and tracking reimbursement. We do not contact your insurance company on your behalf, nor guarantee reimbursement.

Clients without insurance or those choosing not to use insurance must pay the full session fee at the time of service. Clients have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of the expected costs of services.

• Self-Pay Rate for Intake | $150 | 60 minutes 

• Self-Pay Rate for Therapy Session | $125 | 60 minutes 
  

  • A sliding scale fee may be available for eligible clients based on financial need. If you’re interested in exploring a reduced rate, please let your therapist know during your consultation. We’ll do our best to accommodate your needs or provide appropriate referrals.

As Part of the No Surprises Act, you are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the cost of therapy if you are self-pay or not using insurance. This is simply an estimate of fees for services we agree upon and may change depending on your treatment needs. The Good Faith Estimate is not a contract and does not obligate you to receive services, nor does it guarantee that your total costs will be the same as the estimate. Actual costs may change depending on the number of sessions you attend, the length of sessions, and your treatment needs. 

You will receive a written Good Faith Estimate before your first session and may request one at any time during treatment. Therapy Intensives are specialized and extended services that are typically not covered by insurance. Please contact us directly for transparent pricing on our intensive packages. We can discuss payment plans and provide necessary documentation upon request.
